Product Options, Features, Variations & Image Measurements

This guide explains how to manage product options, define product features, create product variations, and upload images using the dimensions required by the store's theme.

1. Managing Product Options

Product options allow customers to select from available choices when purchasing a product.

Example: Abaya

An abaya may have the following options:

  • Size: Select a size from the available choices.
  • Color: Select a color, if configured as a product option.

Step 1: Log in to the Vendor Panel and navigate to Products.

Step 2: Open an existing product or select Add Product.

Step 5: Save the changes and verify the options on the storefront.

2. Managing Product Features

Product features describe a product's attributes and specifications. These may include size, color, material, and other details.

Example: Abaya

Step 1: Open the product from the Vendor Panel.

Note: Features may be used to display product information or filter products. They do not necessarily allow customers to select a product option during checkout.

3. Managing Product Variations

Product variations represent specific versions or combinations of a product's attributes. Depending on the store configuration, each variation may have its own price, stock quantity, product code, or image.

Example: Abaya

If an abaya is available in two colors and three sizes, its variations could include:

Step 1: Open the product from the Vendor Panel.

Step 4: Enter the required details for each variation, such as price and quantity, where applicable.

Important Notes:

  • Create only combinations that are actually available for sale.
  • Ensure that prices and stock quantities are accurate for each variation.
  • Variation settings may differ depending on the store configuration and installed add-ons.

4. Product Image Measurements

Upload product images using the dimensions specified for the store's theme to ensure consistent display across the storefront.

Required image dimensions:

  • Main Product Image: [Add Width × Height in pixels]
  • Additional Product Images: [Add Width × Height in pixels]

Step 1: Open the product edit page and navigate to the images section.
