1. Available Payment Methods
Customers may use the electronic payment methods displayed as available at checkout.
Available payment methods may include:
- Mada.
- Visa.
- Mastercard.
- Apple Pay.
- Any other payment methods that may be made available through the Platform in the future.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the payment service provider, type of order, or other relevant operational or technical factors.
The payment methods displayed to the Customer at checkout are the methods available for that order at that time.
2. Payment Processing
Bazar Alward Marketing Company, together with its approved payment service providers, facilitates the collection and processing of payments relating to orders made through the Platform and the settlement of Seller proceeds in accordance with the applicable arrangements.
Payments are processed through the approved payment service provider and its associated systems.
Payment transactions may be subject to the terms and requirements of the relevant payment service provider, bank, card issuer, or payment method used.
3. Payment Security
Electronic payments are processed through approved payment service providers and systems used by the Platform.
Bazar Alward takes reasonable measures to protect payment-related information in accordance with applicable laws and security standards.
Bazar Alward does not directly store sensitive payment card information unless such storage is carried out through approved systems and in accordance with applicable legal requirements and security standards.
The payment service provider may process or store certain payment information in accordance with its own terms, privacy policy, and applicable laws.
4. Customer Responsibility for Payment Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a payment.
Customers also confirm that they are authorized to use the payment method used for the transaction.
Customers must not use any card, account, or payment method without the authorization of its owner or for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose.
The Platform or payment service provider may decline, suspend, or cancel a transaction where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity or where payment cannot be verified.
5. Payment and Order Confirmation
Following a successful payment, the Customer may receive an electronic notification confirming receipt of the order or successful payment through email, their Platform account, or another available electronic method.
Successful payment or receipt of an order notification does not necessarily constitute final acceptance or confirmation that the order will be fulfilled.
Order fulfilment remains subject to product availability, the Seller’s ability to fulfil the order, transaction verification, and the absence of any legal or operational reason preventing fulfilment, in accordance with the Platform’s Terms and Conditions.
If an order cannot be fulfilled after payment has been collected, any amount due to the Customer will be handled in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, Return and Exchange Policy, and this Policy.
6. Failed or Declined Payments
A payment may fail or be declined for various reasons, including:
- The transaction being declined by the bank or card issuer.
- Insufficient funds.
- Incorrect payment information.
- An expired payment method.
- Inability to verify the transaction.
- Security restrictions imposed by the bank or payment service provider.
- Reasonable suspicion of fraudulent or unlawful activity.
- A technical error or temporary payment service interruption.
If a payment is unsuccessful, the Customer may be able to try again or use another available payment method.
An order will not be considered paid unless successful payment has been confirmed through the applicable payment system.
7. Pending or Held Amounts
In some cases, a transaction amount may appear in the Customer’s account as pending or temporarily held even if the order was not successfully completed.
This may result from the procedures of the Customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment service provider.
In such cases, the time required for the pending amount to be released or returned depends on the procedures of the relevant bank or payment service provider.
Customers may contact Bazar Alward for available information regarding the status of the transaction. However, the timing of the release of funds by a bank or payment service provider may be outside the Platform’s direct control.
8. Order Cancellation After Payment
If an order or part of an order is cancelled after successful payment, any amount due to the Customer will be handled according to the reason for cancellation, the Terms and Conditions, the Return and Exchange Policy, and applicable laws.
Cancellation may occur, for example, because a product is unavailable, the Seller is unable to fulfil the order, there is a material error in the order or price, or a legal or operational reason prevents the transaction from being completed.
9. Refunds
Where a Customer is entitled to a refund as a result of a cancellation, return, or other approved reason, Bazar Alward and its approved payment service providers will facilitate the processing of the refund in accordance with applicable laws and the payment arrangements used for the original transaction.
Refunds will generally be made to the original payment method, where possible.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the Customer’s account may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, payment method, or payment service provider used.
Where applicable law establishes a specific period for processing or returning amounts due to the Customer, that statutory period will apply.
Bazar Alward will not be responsible for delays caused solely by the bank, card issuer, or payment service provider after the refund request has been properly submitted for processing, without prejudice to any mandatory obligation imposed on Bazar Alward under applicable law.
10. Taxes and Fees
Product prices are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) where VAT is applicable under the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Additional charges associated with an order, such as shipping, delivery, or other applicable service fees, may be added provided that they are disclosed to the Customer before the purchase is completed where applicable.
The total amount payable by the Customer will be displayed before the order and payment are confirmed.
11. Settlement of Seller Proceeds
Seller proceeds relating to orders are settled through Bazar Alward and its payment service providers in accordance with the commercial and operational arrangements applicable between the Platform and its Sellers.
The method used to settle Seller proceeds does not affect the amount the Customer agreed to pay when completing the purchase or any rights available to the Customer under applicable laws and Platform policies.
12. Third-Party Payment Service Providers
Certain payment services depend on payment service providers, banks, and other third parties that operate independently from Bazar Alward.
Certain aspects of a payment transaction may therefore be subject to the terms and policies of those parties.
Bazar Alward shall not be responsible for delays or interruptions caused solely by the systems or services of an independent payment service provider, bank, or other third party where those circumstances are outside the Platform’s reasonable control.
Nothing in this section shall be interpreted as excluding any liability or obligation of Bazar Alward that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Payment Disputes and Objections
If a Customer experiences an issue or wishes to raise an objection regarding a payment transaction, the Customer should contact Bazar Alward Customer Service and provide the relevant order number and transaction information.
Resolving the issue may require coordination with the Seller, payment service provider, bank, or card issuer.
Where the Customer submits a payment dispute or refund request directly through a bank or payment service provider, the transaction may be subject to the procedures and requirements of the relevant institution.
Nothing in this section affects any rights available to the Customer under applicable law.
